  • Inertia is the inability of material body to change, by itself, its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line.
  • Mass is a measure of inertia
  • Newton's first law of motion: A body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion along a straight line unless an external unbalanced force acts on it.
